BENEFITS FROM PERSONAL TRAINING...
Training performed correctly will result in the following adaptations by the body: Increased cardio output: the heart becomes stronger and has a better ability to pump blood and in turn provide oxygen to the body. Decreased heart rate: the heart doesn't have to work as hard ie. beat as many times in order to supply the oxygen required by the body.
Reduced blood pressure: a leaner body will require less work to be done by the heart in order to provide the necessary oxygen requirements to the body there by reducing the pressure on the major blood vessels. Increased lean body mass: more muscle results in more energy expenditure, ie. less calories kept on the body and stored as fat. Increased metabolic rate: the rate at which the body utilises/processes substrates like carbohydrates, fats, proteins, etc. Increased bone density: stronger muscles trigger the body to supply bones with more mineral salts resulting in stronger bones. Increased flexibility and range of motion: muscles will stretch more and allow for greater freedom of movement of limbs. Increased support and stability of joints: increased muscle mass around the joints protects them from unnatural movement and absorbs damaging sheer forces.
Other benefits include: Decreased risk of coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes as examples
Increased self confidence and support of healthy self esteem Higher levels of sustained energy through out the day
Improved mental health and coping mechanisms against stress
General feeling of greater well-being and enjoyment of life
